As of April 1, 2019, if you’ve been in a car accident and have an ICBC active claim number, you are pre-approved for 12 Massage Therapy sessions. All that you need to do is choose your RMT, book your massage, send us an email with your ICBC claim number and Accident date, and enjoy your massage. There is no need to pay upfront (unless you want a massage longer than 45 minutes) because we offer direct billing for your ICBC massage. We've taken the stress out of the billing, so you can focus on what's important - YOU. Our RMT is able to offer you suggestions for exercises to improve your pain or we're able to work with your other practitioners such as Chiropractor, physiotherapist, or acupuncturist.

Pain is the main reason that our clients come to us and you can be assured that we'll do our best and work with you to reduce it. It disrupts sleep, work, and your day to day function. Reducing the pain and getting you moving is just the start of the recovery process to get you back to the new you
Whiplash is the term to describe neck pain and injury after an accident. It’s actually the spraining of your neck’s soft tissues (ligaments, tendons, muscles, discs, and small joints) and can occur in car accidents, sporting activities and accidental falls. Symptoms can include neck pain, stiffness and headaches and sometimes radiating pain to the shoulder blade and arm.
Back pain is a challenging experience for those living with it. Due to the nature of the symptoms, many Canadians seek relief through a myriad of remedies- Massage therapy and athletic therapy being one of them. We do suggest working with other therapists to improve the time it takes to recover.
Massage Therapy for back pain is a varied practice that requires the appropriate training, education, and experience in order to be effective. At Sync Therapy, we take a patient-centric approach and create an individualized treatment program designed for you.
The tendons and muscles in your rotator cuffs are very susceptible to tearing. When the shoulder blade pulls and pinches the muscles and tendons of your rotator cuff, this is known as shoulder impingement.
The impact of a car accident can cause one or more of the back’s small discs to shift out of alignment. Herniated discs can create ruptures to the area resulting in pain, nerve injuries that travel all the way down to the thighs, and severe weakness.
While some people may start getting headaches immediately after the accident, others may not get them until after a few days or even weeks. When you get timely treatment for your headaches or other symptoms, it becomes easier for the doctor to find the root cause of the problem, and he/she is able to provide appropriate treatment.
Our RMT or registered massage therapist is covered by ICBC. You don't have to worry about the stress of paying for a massage after an accident. We direct bill ICBC on your behalf. After a motor vehicle accident, your RMT will work with you to design an individualized program to reduce your pain and help you move better.
With each one-on-one session at Sync Therapy our massage therapist uses a hands on approach to helping you feel better and returning to your pre-accident form. Your massage therapist will give you guidance, support, motivation and accountability to help you return to the activities you love and empower you with the knowledge to safely continue exercise on your own.

I came to Sync Therapy 3 months after having shoulder surgery from a chronic sports injury. Daryl was instrumental in helping me gain back my mobility and add strength, to help me return to professional sport. Not only does he treat the area where the source of the injury is, but he is meticulous in assessing other areas of deficiencies that may be aiding in pain. He has listened to all my concerns with care and answered all of my questions with an undeniable knowledge base making me feel at ease with my progress and motivated to continue through challenging therapy. Since I have moved to Toronto, Daryl has been in constant contact just to see how I am progressing, and he has provided a tremendous amount of support through the physical and mental battles of re-injury. I would recommend Sync Therapy to anyone who has a sports injury, or those seeking treatment for everyday aches and pains as Daryl goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are healthy both mind and body
